The Noor Project refers to Noor Energy 1, the 950 MW hybrid concentrated solar power (CSP) plus photovoltaic (PV) facility—widely regarded as the world’s largest single-site CSP plant. It combines central tower, parabolic trough, and PV technologies to deliver 24/7 clean energy to Dubai’s grid.
Petrofast Group contributed by supplying 200 tonnes of structural bolts (ASTM A325M T-1, ASTM A563M CL 10S, ASTM F436M T-1), critical to safely anchoring and assembling the large-scale solar infrastructure components. This included the towering 260 m central receiver tower, extensive parabolic trough arrays, and solar panel mounting structures.
Such fasteners ensure structural integrity in the face of thermal expansion, high wind loads, and continuous operation. Petrofast’s professionalism—delivering ethically, reliably, and in alignment with tight project specifications—facilitated timely installation, safety compliance, and long-term resilience for this landmark renewable energy project.
