In this project, Petrofast Group contributed to ADNOC’s major investment to connect newly drilled smart wells to the main production facilities at Bu Hasa—its largest onshore asset. With a production capacity of approximately 650,000 barrels per day, Bu Hasa has been a cornerstone of operations since 1965. The scale of this investment, roughly USD 318 million, underlines the strategic importance of enhancing connectivity and production efficiency.

Petrofast supplied around 50 tons of stud bolts with heavy hex nuts, conforming to industry standards such as ASTM A193 Gr. B7/B7M and ASTM A194 Gr. 2H/2HM. These high-integrity fasteners were essential for securely linking smart well infrastructure to existing pipelines and production systems, ensuring system resilience and reliable performance.

Its technical contributions helped reinforce ADNOC’s onshore infrastructure, bolstering both operational capacity and long-term development in Abu Dhabi’s energy sector
